Made it through the first round of chemo!  Thank you everyone for all of your support and prayers!  Wouldn’t have made it without you all!

Special thanks to my two nurses who helped make this day a little more bearable.  Thanks Karen and Jamie!  See you in 3 weeks!  :-)

Team Felber at our first Relay for Life

June 11, 2010

Team Felber was proud to be partipants in the first Juno Beach “Relay for Life”.  Wayne walked the survivor lap, Sharon walked the caregiver lap and we walked a lap together!  And together we will beat cancer one laugh at a time!

June 17th I had my second chemotherapy. 6 1/2 hours and we were done, well at least for 21 days.

I am feeling well so far. I have some body pain, however I am not throwing up at all so knock on wood. I had to shave my head because my hair is falling out now. I have to say I am a sexy bald man LOL.

On June 16th Valerie & Ken my awesome sister in law and her husband had an event called Wine For Wayne in Chicago. I am so excited to say thank you to all of their friends for supporting us. The event did well enough that I can pay for another chemotherapy treatment. Words can never speak loud enough for us to say how awesome this is. I will post pictures later.

Our new Team Felber T-Shirts…Thanks to my mom for getting them…Beating cancer one laugh at a time…Oh and you have to admit We are sexy….

I survived chemotherapy # 3 and am on the road to kicking cancer’s butt…

The key to beating cancer is to laugh as much as you can. Sharon & I went to see Mitch Fatel who is on of my favorite comedians ever. For a few hours we put cancer aside and just laughed our butts off….By the way does this comedian make me look fat?
